This morning I awoke feeling really bright and cheery! It’s been pretty gloomy here lately...especially with this depressing, gray suicidal-Seattle weather hovering over the valley. With the hit of my third snoozed alarm, I got up and decided to wear my cute ribbed shirt with slacks to work, which in turn made me 15 minutes late (an update in wardrobe adds extra minutes!) but I didn’t mind since the bosses were out of town this week. It was definitely a Tracy Turnblad, Good Morning Baltimore moment.

With this natural high, I decided to turn on the radio and hangout with Mark & Mercedes. While eating my banana, typing specifications, and talking on the phone with a client; an amusing topic came up that needed my full attention. I hung up the phone, threw my banana peel across the room to the trash, and turned up the volume. The topic started out with, “why do ladies flock to the rich guys when they usually always turn out to be douche bags?” Viewers called in and talked about how the rich ones are usually the most attractive, BUT are the worst in bed. They were saying that the rich guys/girls don’t pay attention to detail and don’t really care or value the relationship that they’re in. It’s like they were always given what they wanted so they don’t appreciate anything that they have.

On that note, Mercedes brought up the topic, “what if you are dating a rich, handsome man that is actually a great guy, but women constantly throw themselves at him; what do you do as their girlfriend?” She mentioned that at first, its great willpower to the man that can resist them, but as the girlfriend, there comes a point when enough is enough.

This got me thinking. I agree with most of the viewers that the rich ones are usually assholes that think they own the world (whatevs to them), but Mercedes second question put me in a pickle. I do agree that enough is enough, but what if they’re naturally charming? Of course if the guy acted on it and claims he “couldn’t resist,” then that’s his ‘peesh—weak ‘peesh that is. But honestly, I can imagine if the girlfriend is comfortable and secure with herself, then it would be fine. Actually, she’d find it complimenting to her life that she’s with a great guy that everybody wants. Plus too, she would probably be as equally attractive or maybe even hotter than he is!—but we won’t tell him that *wink
